The Music

The great Natalia ‘Saw Lady’ Paruz played live in the 2016 production, and graciously allowed me to use her brilliant recordings for this project. Most of the songs were composed by Scott Munson. Other music was adapted from the wonderful amiina or created by me on GarageBand

The Writer/Editor

That’s me, Alex Moggridge. I’m a playwright/actor based in Brooklyn, NY. You can learn more about me as an actor here. As a writer, my plays have been produced at Flint Repertory Theatre, The Access Theatre, Playground, and Off-Broadway’s Summer Play Festival. I have been commissioned to write multiple plays for the Berkeley rep School of theatre.

I have spent many hours of 2020 recording slamming doors at home, stomping around Prospect Park, or yelling at a microphone from across the room, trying to find the perfect sound for each moment. It’s been a total delight.

Special thanks are due to all of the collaborators on this project for their incredible openness and creativity. Thanks also and especially to Tony Hagopian, Michael Lluberes, Henry Vick, Marilee Talkington, Chris French, Anthony Crane, Meagen Kimberly Smith, and Maya Jackson for giving this play its first life so beautifully in 2016. Thanks also to Zed B. Starkovich for his audio guidance.
